Gereen R. Francis is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and the founder and CEO of Tangerine Behavioral Consulting LLC. Since 2009, she has dedicated her career to helping families and educators build the skills and confidence they need to support children in creating positive, lasting change.
Her journey began at the Marcus Autism Center in Atlanta, Georgia, where she worked with children with significant behavior and communication needs. That experience sparked her passion for coaching families and training educators, a focus that continues to guide her work today.
Gereen has served as a Behavior Interventionist and a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) District Coordinator, leading training and consultation for schools across Georgia. She is also a consultant with the Pyramid Model Consortium and Georgia State University, providing training for early childhood professionals on social-emotional development and positive behavior support. In addition, she is a Certified PEERS® Instructor, teaching evidence-based social skills strategies to preschoolers, adolescents, and their families.
Originally from St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands, Gereen also brings the perspective of a parent. As the mother of a twice exceptional child, she understands the challenges families face and the importance of support that is both practical and sustainable.
Through Tangerine Behavioral Consulting, Gereen’s mission is simple: to use applied knowledge to make life better for children, families, and educators by creating environments where everyone can grow and thrive.
