Empowering Families: Positive Behavior Support Workshop
Led by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), our workshop is dedicated to empowering parents, caregivers, and families with confidence in supporting their child's social, emotional, and behavioral development and overall well-being. This group-based workshop offers an inclusive environment where participants can connect and create a supportive community to navigate challenges together.
During this six-week workshop, participants will learn how to:
Gain insights into the underlying functions of challenging behaviors and learn to interpret the messages behind their children's actions.
Acquire practical tools and techniques to prevent challenging behaviors from escalating and effectively intervene when they occur.
Learn techniques to help their child communicate their needs and emotions in appropriate ways.
Through guided exercises and discussions, all participants will develop personalized behavior support plans tailored to the unique needs of their children to share with other family members, caregivers, educators, and the community.
